The Fargo 89203 is an internal encoding module that adds contactless smart card capability to your single-sided Fargo HDP5000 or HDP5600 printer. Built around the OMNIKEY 5121 reader, it handles iCLASS, MIFARE, and DESFire encoding — the technologies most commonly used in access control and secure ID programmes across Ireland and Europe.

Rather than managing a separate desktop encoder alongside your printer, this module integrates directly into the HDP5000 or HDP5600, keeping the encoding process in-line with card production.
