Choosing Evolis Primacy ribbons for your card programme

The Evolis Primacy is widely used in Irish offices, and its ribbon choice is wider than most: a standard colour ribbon, a colour ribbon with a second black panel for dual-sided work, and two security overlays for cards that need to be hard to copy. Which one you load depends on what the card is for.

A staff badge with a photo on the front uses the R5F008EAA YMCKO, 300 prints. A card with printed terms or a barcode on the reverse uses the R6F003EAA YMCKOK, 200 prints, where the extra K panel prints the back in black without spending a full colour set on it. For a Dublin college or a public body that needs a card that visibly cannot be forged at a desk, the hologram overlays go on top.
