Print speeds reach up to 304mm/sec (12ips) for standard output, dropping to 152mm/sec (6ips) for rotated barcodes — the kind of throughput that keeps a busy despatch operation moving without bottlenecks. Print quality is sharp and consistent, as you'd expect from a Zebra-branded ribbon running on compatible Zebra hardware.
Worth noting: this is a standard wax formulation, so it performs best in environments with limited exposure to chemicals, moisture, or abrasion. For more demanding conditions, a wax-resin or resin ribbon may be the better fit — but for straightforward, high-volume label printing, the 2300 does the job well and at a sensible price point.
