The Magicard MA600KO black ribbon — also known as the EN6 — delivers clean, sharp monochrome prints across a full 600-card roll. Resin-based black panels handle fine text and barcode detail well, which matters when you're printing staff ID cards or membership cards where a smudged digit or an unscannable barcode creates real problems downstream.

An overlay panel is included in the ribbon sequence, adding a protective layer directly to the card surface during printing. That means each finished card leaves the printer with a degree of physical protection built in — without any extra lamination step.
